Stellantis India Appoints New CEO

Bangalore- Stellantis N.V. an auomtoive manufacturing Corporation India, has announced the appointment of Mr. Shailesh Hazela as the new CEO and Managing Director. He will succeed Aditya Jairaj, who will be relocating to the United States. This will transition through mid-July.

Mr. Shailesh Hazela, previously VP of Global Purchasing and Supply Chain for India & Asia Pacific at Stellantis, is appointed as the new CEO and Managing Director for India. Since joining in September 2022, he has leveraged the supply base across various regions. With over 28 years of experience in automotive, telecommunication, and railways, Shailesh holds an MBA and a bachelor's in industrial engineering.

Stellantis in India operates three manufacturing plants, an ICT hub, a Software Centre, and two R&D centers. As part of its "Make in India" initiative, India uniquely produces four Jeep models outside North America and the Citroën C5 Aircross outside France.
