Pune- Stellantis N.V., and Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd.,(TMPV) have marked 20 years of partnership through their 50:50 joint venture, Fiat India Automobiles Private Limited (FIAPL). Celebrating the milestone, the two companies signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to explore new collaboration opportunities spanning manufacturing, engineering and supply chain activities in India as well as overseas.
Over the past two decades, FIAPL has built strong capabilities across manufacturing operations, powertrain development and supply chain excellence. The companies said these strengths provide a solid platform to expand cooperation further, combining Stellantis’ global expertise with Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles’ deep local knowledge.
Mr. Grégoire Olivier, Chief Operating Officer of Stellantis Asia Pacific, said FIAPL demonstrates what two strong organizations can achieve together, adding that the focus now is on evolving the partnership to support future-ready manufacturing, innovation and sustainable growth in the region.
Mr. Shailesh Chandra, Managing Director and CEO of Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles, said the FIAPL association reflects a long-standing relationship built on trust, shared values and a common vision, and noted that Tata Motors looks forward to strengthening ties with Stellantis in the years ahead.
