St. Valentin, Austria — Steyr Landmaschinentechnik AG., (Steyr tractor) a brand of CNH and an agricultural tractor manufacturer, has expanded its Plus tractor lineup, introduced last year, by offering two transmission choices and new features tailored to meet the specific requirements of various users. The Plus series, which includes models with power outputs of 100, 110, and 117 hp (4100, 4110, and 4120), now comes with either the established 40 kph 24F/24R S-Control II transmission or a new electro-hydraulic powershuttle 12F/12R transmission option.

The new 12F/12R electro-hydraulic powershuttle is designed especially for front loader operators, providing 12 forward and reverse speeds with electronic shuttle activation for smooth and rapid direction changes. This transmission option includes mechanical draft control and, starting late 2025, will offer an electric autoguidance feature to facilitate easier field operations and accurate parallel pass alignment. Additionally, an optional telematics package will enable real-time two-way data communication to enhance farm management efficiency.

All Plus tractors come with LED worklights, a larger 130-litre fuel tank, and 75 mm more ground clearance thanks to bigger 420/85 R38 rear tires. They feature a brake-to-clutch system for easy drive disengagement, especially useful with front loaders. Gross vehicle weight increases to 7.0 tonnes, allowing heavier loads. A powerful 82 l/min hydraulic pump supports tough implements, rear lift capacity rises to 4,700 kg, and a new front PTO with a wet clutch lowers maintenance. The optional front hitch works with a Class 1.5 heavy-duty axle offering improved steering.

Models equipped with the 24F/24R HiLo transmission benefit from electronic draft control for precise implement management and Auto PTO, which automatically engages or disengages the power take-off based on the rear linkage arm position. These models also feature mechanical cab suspension for added comfort, optional hydraulic autoguidance, and variable rate steering for improved front wheel steering angle adjustments.
