Wisbech, England - Stocks Ag., an agricultural machinery manufacturer, has introduced a series of upgrades to its Turbo Jet and Maxi Jet applicator range, designed to improve output, flexibility and compatibility with a wider range of host machines.
The update includes a new pressurised 1000-litre steel hopper, now available for both Turbo Jet and Maxi Jet models. The larger hopper reduces refill frequency while helping maintain consistent metering performance, regardless of product level. It mounts directly onto the standard chassis and includes side support rails for bespoke OEM or farm-built installations.
Additional practical features include a removable sieve to prevent foreign material from entering the metering system and a quick-empty discharge tube for fast, clean unloading.
Stocks has also extended its Hydraulic Fan option to the Turbo Jet 8, following its introduction on the Turbo Jet 10. The increased airflow enables the Turbo Jet 8 to work at widths of up to 12 metres, while the Turbo Jet 10 HD supports wider operations from 10 to 15 metres. Both models can operate at higher forward speeds and can be configured for full-width or row-specific application.
A new 59 mm high-capacity feed block is also available across the Turbo Jet and Maxi Jet range. With six flexible-vane metering rollers, it increases swept volume and supports accurate application of larger or irregular seeds, including peas, beans and cover crop mixes.
Control options include JACKAL and i-CON systems, offering fan speed and function monitoring, with ISOBUS-ready versions available for full in-cab integration.
