Hunan, China - Sunward Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd., a heavy machinery manufacturer, has expanded its U.S. compact equipment lineup with the launch of the SWTL5238 compact track loader.
The SWTL5238 is Sunward’s largest compact track loader introduced for the U.S. market and follows the earlier SWTL4538 model. Weighing 11,850 pounds, the machine delivers a rated operating capacity of 3,307 pounds, a tipping load of 9,449 pounds and bucket cylinder breakout force of 8,598 pounds.
Powered by a 114-horsepower Kubota V3800-T engine, the loader is designed for demanding construction, site preparation and material-handling applications. It also features a suspended undercarriage system for improved ride comfort and jobsite stability.
A major highlight is its pressurized cab with an upward-swinging door that can be opened even when the boom is in any position. Inside, updated control levers support easier operation, while electronically assisted hydraulics help improve response and machine control.
The SWTL5238 also includes a rear-mounted hydraulic cooling system with temperature-controlled speed regulation, designed to support engine performance and cold-start operation. For maintenance, Sunward has added easier access to service checkpoints and hydraulic components through a rear swinging door, while the ROPS cab can be tilted to reach major components.
With the SWTL5238, Sunward is strengthening its compact track loader presence in the U.S. market and targeting contractors looking for a high-capacity machine with improved operator comfort, serviceability and hydraulic performance.
