Atwood, Kansas — SurePoint Ag Systems., a precision agriculture technology company, has officially opened its new Sales and Production Center in northwest Kansas, marking a significant milestone in the company’s growth strategy. The facility was inaugurated during a series of events that included employee meetings, guided tours, a ribbon-cutting ceremony, and an open house attended by nearly 300 guests.
Attendees represented a broad cross-section of stakeholders, including employees, dealers, customers, community members, contractors, and industry partners. The new center is located on SurePoint Ag’s existing campus north of Atwood and more than doubles the company’s total operational footprint.
The center is intended to enhance reliability in production and shipping while providing expanded space for hands-on training and cross-team collaboration. Green also acknowledged the contributions of contractors and internal teams who supported the project, emphasizing that the facility was completed safely and efficiently.
SurePoint Ag Systems currently employs more than 130 people across its operations, including full-time and part-time staff, as well as interns and trainees. Roles range from production and assembly positions to engineering, sales, accounting, and customer support.
Company leadership noted that the expansion reflects long-term confidence in Atwood as a base for continued operations and economic contribution to the region. The project represents the company’s fourth facility expansion since 2007, underscoring sustained business growth over nearly two decades.
John Deere, which began its strategic relationship with SurePoint Ag in 2022, also highlighted the importance of the new facility. Cory Reed, President of Lifecycle Solutions, Supply Management, and Customer Success for John Deere, said SurePoint Ag continues to grow despite broader challenges in the agricultural sector due to its focus on innovation and customer value.
With the new Sales and Production Center now operational, SurePoint Ag Systems is positioned to scale its manufacturing, training, and support capabilities as demand for advanced agricultural solutions continues to evolve.
