Suzuki Unveils All-New SV-7GX Crossover at EICMA 2025

Shizuoka, Japan- Suzuki Motor Corporation., has revealed its latest motorcycle, the all-new SV-7GX, at the EICMA 2025 International Motorcycle Exhibition in Milan, Italy, held from November 4 to 9. Sales will begin sequentially in 2026, starting in North America and Europe.

The SV-7GX is a new-generation crossover model that inherits the concept and aggressive styling of Suzuki’s flagship GSX-S1000GX. It fuses the sportiness of a street model with the comfort and practicality of an adventure tourer, making it suitable for both everyday riding and long-distance touring.

SV-7GX is Suzuki’s highly acclaimed V-twin engine derived from the SV650 series. This engine provides nimble performance while maintaining smooth, manageable power delivery. The upright riding position, along with standard touring equipment such as a rear carrier, half cowl with a three-step adjustable windscreen, and knuckle covers, ensures rider comfort and versatility in various conditions.

The SV-7GX also introduces Suzuki’s advanced electronic control suite, the Suzuki Intelligent Ride System (S.I.R.S.), which enhances both performance and safety. The system includes the Suzuki Drive Mode Selector (SDMS), offering three selectable power modes; a traction control system with three settings plus “OFF”; and a bi-directional quick shift system that enables clutch-free gear changes. Additional features such as the Suzuki Easy Start System and Low RPM Assist make the motorcycle more user-friendly for riders of all skill levels.

Built around a lightweight steel trellis frame, the SV-7GX achieves a fine balance of rigidity and flexibility. Its slim and compact V-twin engine, combined with an ergonomically designed fatigue-resistant seat, ensures comfort and confidence whether navigating city streets or tackling long highway stretches. The compact projector headlight provides bright, wide illumination, while the 17.4-liter fuel tank supports extended rides between refueling stops.

Stylistically, the SV-7GX exudes a sleek and aggressive character reminiscent of a sportbike. The body’s dynamic proportions highlight Suzuki’s design DNA, while three color options blue, black, and greige allow riders to choose a finish that matches their personality and riding style.

In European specifications, the SV-7GX measures 2,115 mm in length, 910 mm in width, and 1,295 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 1,445 mm and a seat height of 795 mm. It weighs 211 kg (curb weight) and rides on 17-inch tubeless tires (120/70 front, 160/60 rear). The 645 cm³ liquid-cooled, 4-stroke V-twin DOHC engine delivers a smooth powerband with a fuel consumption of 23.8 km/L (WMTC mode) and CO₂ emissions of 97 g/km.

Equipped with a 4.2-inch full-color TFT display compatible with Suzuki Ride Connect+, a USB-C power outlet, and standard knuckle covers, the SV-7GX blends technology, practicality, and design into a single all-round package.
