Mohali - Swaraj Tractors, a tractor brand of the Mahindra Group, has expanded its popular ‘Swaraj Target range’ with the new Target 625. Offered in both 4WD and 2WD variants, the Target 625 aims to redefine the compact lightweight tractor category with its superior power, advanced technology, and versatility.

The Swaraj Target range is gaining recognition for setting new standards in compact lightweight tractors. The introduction of the 2WD variant of the Swaraj Target 625 offers farmers the chance to embrace modern farming techniques, combining powerful performance with enhanced operator comfort.

The Swaraj Target 625 is a groundbreaking tractor tailored for progressive farmers, offering a powerful blend of technology and maneuverability for various agricultural tasks, including spraying and interculture operations. Its compact design features the narrowest track width in its class and a low turning radius, allowing easy navigation in tight spaces and maximizing productivity. With fuel efficiency and advanced technologies like a synchromesh gearbox, the Target 625 delivers car-like comfort and control, enhancing the overall farming experience.

The Swaraj Target 625 features a powerful DI engine delivering 83.1 Nm of torque for handling trailed sprayers of up to 600 liters in tough terrains. Its adjustable flexi track width (28, 32, or 36 inches) meets diverse crop needs, while a maximum lift capacity of 980 kg allows for effortless handling of heavy implements. The ADDC hydraulics ensure precise depth control for various draft implements, and with 14.09 kW (18.9 HP) of PTO power, it guarantees uniform mist-like spraying.

The Swaraj Target 625 is equipped with a Max-Cool radiator, which is 20% larger for superior heat dissipation, preventing overheating during extended use. Its constant mesh transmission ensures smooth gear shifting, while the engine key stop provides convenient on/off control. The balanced power steering minimizes fatigue during frequent turns, enhancing operator comfort. A stylish digital cluster improves visibility in low-light conditions, and the 2WD axle option broadens its versatility. Additionally, the dual PTO offers both 540 and 540E Economy modes, enabling fuel savings with lighter equipment like alternators and water pumps.
