Swaraj Tractors Names Gaganjot Singh as CEO

Swaraj Tractors has named Gaganjot Singh as CEO, succeeding Harish Chavan. Singh spent 13 years at Michelin.

Punjab - Swaraj Tractors., a division of Mahindra & Mahindra, has appointed Mr. Gaganjot Singh as new Chief Executive Officer. Gaganjot Singh, who spent 13 years at Michelin, has replaced Mr. Harish Chavan as the new CEO of Swaraj Tractors.

Mr. Gaganjot Singh, New Chief Executive Officer, said, "Thanks, Swaraj for making me part of the stupendous journey that you have been. Being back in Punjab where I spent the first three decades of my life is blissful. Before resigning from Michelin, Gaganjot Singh held the role of President and Managing Director for the company's Africa, India, and Middle East operations. He joined Michelin in 2012 as Director of Finance and Operations, where he made significant contributions to the company's financial and operational strategies. Over the years, he advanced to become Managing Director of Michelin’s South Africa business and later took on the role of Global Business Model Leader for long-distance transportation, overseeing global initiatives and strategies in that sector.

Gaganjot Singh previously held the position of Chief Financial Officer and Vice President at Saint-Gobain, where he played a key role in driving the company’s financial and strategic initiatives. An accomplished professional, Singh earned his MBA from the School of Management Studies at Punjabi University, equipping him with a strong foundation in business leadership and management. His extensive career also includes significant roles at PepsiCo and GSK Consumer Healthcare India, where he gained valuable experience across diverse industries and honed his expertise in finance, operations, and strategic planning.
