Houston, Texas – Tadano Ltd., a lifting equipment provider, has introduced the GTC-600-2, a 60-ton telescopic boom crawler crane that replaces the 55-ton GTC-550 in its lineup. The new model comes with a 113.8-foot full-power boom, 28.9 ft/49.9 ft extension and jib, and Tadano’s OPTI-WIDTH™ system, delivering lifting capacities up to 4° out of level with full pick-and-carry capability. Despite its increased strength, the GTC-600-2 remains highly transportable, requiring just one truck for transport.

Mr. Reagan Bull, COO of Tadano Mantis Corporation, said, “Our latest addition to the GTC Series provides incredible value for its users. It’s the only 60-ton capacity teleboom crawler that is transported on one truck, plus it has incredible job versatility. The GTC-600-2 will excel in core applications like bridge/heavy civil, power transmission and foundation construction, while being appealing for lift crane-based markets as well.”

The GTC-600-2 retains key features of its predecessor, including 2.5° jib capacity, dual hook operation, 16 mm winches, remote rigging control, and 85% gradeability. It adds a new closed-loop hydrostatic swing system for smoother control and integrates Tadano’s AML-C with automatic load chart switching and operator-set work zone limits.

Mr. Allen Kadow, Tadano Product Manager for Telescopic and Lattice Boom Crawler Crane, said, “The new GTC-600-2 will exceed expectations with its versatility, outstanding features and manufacturer support.”

Powering the new crane is a Cummins Tier 4f / Euromot Stage IV QSB6.7 diesel engine, rated at 260 hp (194 kW) at 2,200 rpm. An optional Heavy Configuration counterweight package (28,200 lbs / 12,791 kg) further boosts lifting performance at longer radii.

With this launch, Tadano strengthens its position in the telescopic boom crawler segment, delivering a machine designed for both transport efficiency and jobsite versatility.
