Taipei, Taiwan - Taipei AMPA 2025., a leading automotive trade show was held from April 23-26, 2025, at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, bringing together over 1,000 exhibitors from Taiwan and around the world. As one of Asia’s premier automotive trade shows, its key objectives were to showcase next-generation mobility solutions, promote electric and smart vehicle technologies, and strengthen global supply chain partnerships. Co-hosted with Autotronics Taipei and E-Mobility Taiwan, the event focused on EV components, intelligent transport systems, ADAS, connected vehicles, and sustainable manufacturing, positioning Taiwan as a vital player in the future of green and intelligent mobility.

Mr. Jason Lin, Manager of Exhibition Department at TAITRA, said, “With E-Mobility Taiwan, we focus on electric vehicles, charging infrastructure, and future mobility. Together, these shows now cover the entire mobility ecosystem. Each year marks subtle yet impactful shifts. Companies once known for consumer electronics, like Delta and Foxconn, are now prominent players in EV technology, leveraging Taiwan’s strong ICT industry.”

Key Highlights:

Foxconn., a brand of Hon Hai Precision Industry Co., Ltd. and an electronic products manufacturing company, has showcased its latest smart EVs, including the Foxtron Model B, Model C cars and Model T bus, with international rollouts planned, including a North American debut of the Model C by year-end. Mr. James Wu, a spokesperson at Foxconn emphasized AI as Foxconn’s main growth driver, while the EV sector also shows strong momentum. The firm is expanding operations in Taiwan, Southeast Asia, and China, and advancing battery localization through its Kaohsiung plant, now mass-producing cells for testing.

Delta Electronics, Inc., an electronics manufacturing company, showcased its latest EV solutions, including advanced powertrains, cooling systems, a 1MW (expandable to 3MW) Megawatt Charging System for heavy-duty EVs, a compact 50kW DC Wallbox charger, and a modular energy storage system, highlighting its commitment to low-carbon, sustainable transportation.

Mr. Shan-Shan Guo, Chief Brand Officer of Delta, said, “Our showcase features a comprehensive charging station that reflects various urban usage scenarios, offering corresponding charging and energy management solutions while also underscoring Delta’s unique strengths in EV powertrains, automotive power and cooling electronics, and energy infrastructure, all essential to help mankind realize a smarter e-mobility future worldwide.”
