This order comprises just two models – 350 buses of Ultra 6/9 BS IV Midi and 1035 buses of LPO 1512/55 BS IV.
Date: December 3, 2017Mumbai / Bangalore - Tata Motors Ltd of Mumbai, delivered a second lot of 50 buses and part of the order for 1385 units from Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC); the first 50 units having been delivered in July, 2017.

Ultra 6/9 BS IV Midi is 9t gvw and powered by a Tata 497 TCIC common rail direct injection system offering a maximum output of 123hp and peak torque of 400Nm, which is matched with the Tata GBS-550 synchromesh (6 forward + 1 reverse) transmission. The chassis is 9m long with a wheel base of 4920mm and is fitted with semi-elliptical leaf springs; double hydraulic acting telescopic type at front and rear; anti-roll bar (front & rear) bar (front & rear) added with Passenger information system (PIS), Automatic vehicle location system (AVL), Security camera network system (SCN), Vehicle health monitoring and diagnostics (VHMD, single control unit ‘SCU’, together with the single bus driver console ‘BDC’, forms the nucleus of the on- bus vehicle intelligent transport system (OBITS) and also fitted with Fire detection and suppression system
LPO1512/55 BSIV is 16t gvw, powered using a Cummins B5.9 BS-IV Common Rail SCR technology with an output of 131bhp and 430Nm of torque which is controlled by GBS 40(5forward+1reverse). The chassis is 11m in length, with a wheel base of 5,845mm and fitted with weveller suspension at the front and pneumatic suspension at the rear.
