Tata Elxsi reveals its latest Global Design and Engineering center in Pune.

Pune, Tata Elxsi, a global provider of design and technology services, strategically broadens its footprint by establishing a new Global Design and Engineering Center at Sukhwani Business Hub in Chinchwad.

The recently opened center is specifically designed to address the technology and digital transformation needs of major automotive OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers. With a capacity to accommodate over 1000 engineers, designers, and technology specialists, it features advanced labs aimed at driving collaborative efforts in engineering R&D. These initiatives span across Software Defined Vehicles, Connected Services, Autonomous Technologies, Electrification, Mechatronics, and Design.

The launch event for the new center was attended by key automotive customers and senior leaders of Tata Elxsi. Mr. Rajendra Petkar, President and CTO of Tata Motors, inaugurated the center.

Highlighting Tata Elxsi's longstanding strategic partnership with Tata Motors spanning over two decades, he mentioned collaboration on various programs such as Connected Vehicles, Digital, AUTOSAR, ADAS, Electrification, Mechanical Design, and Engineering. Mr. Petkar emphasized the significance of the new center's proximity to Tata Motors' facility in Pune, fostering enhanced collaboration on emerging automotive technologies.

Manoj Raghavan, MD and CEO of Tata Elxsi said Pune's role as a crucial talent hub for automotive technologies and manufacturing. He emphasized that the new center expands and strengthens its talent base, supporting the growth of the automotive business. Raghavan underscored Tata Elxsi's commitment to the automotive sector and its key customers, driving technology transformation in software, design, and digital domains.
