In total the CV Domestic, the month of August recorded sales of 30748 units for the year when compared to 29313 which is an increase of 4.9%.
Date: September 4, 2023Mumbai- Tata Motors Limited., sales in the domestic & international market for August 2023 stood at 78,010 vehicles, compared to 78,843 units during August 2022, with a total CV Sales of 32,077 units, +2% YoY.
Heavy Commercial Vehicle (HCV) trucks reported sales figures, with 9,000 units sold, representing a notable 14.4% year-over-year (YoY) growth compared to the 7,865 units sold in August 2022.
Meanwhile, the Intermediate and Light Commercial Vehicle (ILMCV) segment with 5,207 units sold in August 2023. This marked a modest but consistent 4.8% YoY growth compared to the 4,968 units sold in the same month last year.
Passenger carriers also posted encouraging results, with 2,986 units sold in August 2023. This represents an impressive 29.9% YoY increase compared to the 2,299 units sold in August 2022.
In contrast, the Small Commercial Vehicle (SCV) cargo and pickup segment experienced a marginal dip in sales. August 2023 saw 13,555 units sold, a slight -4.4% YoY decrease from the 14,181 units sold in August 2022.
In total the CV Domestic, the month of August recorded sales of 30748 units for the year when compared to 29313 which is an increase of 4.9%. With respect to the export front a total of 1329 units were sold, against the 2179 units during Aug 2022 which is a downfall of 39%.
Domestic sale of MH&ICV in August 2023, including trucks and buses, stood at 13,306 units, compared to 12,069 units in August 2022. Total sales for MH&ICV Domestic & International Business in August 2023, including trucks and buses, stood at 13,816 units compared to 12,846 units in August 2022.
