      Pune - Tata Motors Limited., a commercial vehicle manufacturer, and Tata International, the trading and distribution arm of the Tata Group, have inaugurated a new Registered Vehicle Scrapping Facility (RVSF) in Pune. Named 'Re.Wi.Re – Recycle with Respect,' this facility has an annual capacity to safely disassemble 21,000 end-of-life vehicles using environmentally friendly processes. The RVSF is operated by Tata International Vehicle Applications (TIVA), a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata International, and is equipped to scrap both passenger and commercial vehicles from all brands.

      Mr. Girish Wagh, Executive Director, Tata Motors, said, “Tata Motors is at the forefront of shaping the future of mobility and focused on partnering customers to success by delivering values through its products, services, and digital solutions. Re.Wi.Re represents our commitment to creating a circular economy, leveraging advanced recycling processes that not only extract maximum value from end-of-life vehicles but also contribute to our nation’s sustainability goals. Tata International has been our partner in several international markets, and we are delighted to strengthen this longstanding relationship by adding a new chapter with Re.Wi.Re.”

      Re.Wi.Re. an facility for dismantling end-of-life vehicles across all brands, emphasizing eco-friendly practices. With five facilities operating in Jaipur, Bhubaneshwar, Surat, Chandigarh, and Delhi NCR, Re.Wi.Re. is fully digitalized, ensuring seamless, paperless operations. It features dedicated stations for safely dismantling tyres, batteries, and fluids, aligning with the nation’s vehicle scrappage policy. Re.Wi.Re. represents a significant step towards sustainability in the automotive industry.
