Pune - Tata Motors Limited., a commercial vehicle manufacturer, and Tata International, the trading and distribution arm of the Tata Group, have inaugurated a new Registered Vehicle Scrapping Facility (RVSF) in Pune. Named 'Re.Wi.Re – Recycle with Respect,' this facility has an annual capacity to safely disassemble 21,000 end-of-life vehicles using environmentally friendly processes. The RVSF is operated by Tata International Vehicle Applications (TIVA), a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata International, and is equipped to scrap both passenger and commercial vehicles from all brands.

With five facilities operating in Jaipur, Bhubaneshwar, Surat, Chandigarh, and Delhi NCR, Re.Wi.Re. is fully digitalized, ensuring seamless, paperless operations. It features dedicated stations for safely dismantling tyres, batteries, and fluids, aligning with the nation’s vehicle scrappage policy.
