Tata Motors launches new Signa tipper truck

Mumbai - Tata Motors Ltd of Mumbai, a leading manufacturer of commercial vehicles has launched its the Signa 4825.TK¹ multi-axle tipper truck, which claims as first kind in 47.5T capacity for surface transport of coal and construction aggregates. The Signa 4825.TK is available in two configuration – 10x4 and 10x2 – to offer flexibility to the customer, basis their requirement.

¹Signa 4825.TK’s of 47.5t GVW is powered by Cummins ISBe 6.7-litre BS VI engine with power rating of 250hp and torque rating of 950Nm from 1000-1700rpm which is mated with G1150 9-speed gearbox. The ladder chassis of 6800mm wheelbase is configured with TATA heavy duty 7T reverse elliot type axle at front and TATA Single reduction RA110HD axle at rear. It is equipped with features like spacious sleeper cabin, tilt and telescopic steering system, 3-way mechanically adjustable driving seat and easy-shift gears. It is with 29 cubic metre box load body            with tipper body and hydraulics. The tipper truck also offers creature features like Hill Start Assist (HSA), engine brake and iCGT brake for greater vehicle control and lower operating costs.
