      Tata Motors released August 2024 sales report

      Sales in the domestic & international market for August 2024 stood at 71,693 vehicles, compared to 78,010 units during August 2023.

      Mumbai- Tata Motor Limited., released its sales report for August 2024, in domestic sales showed an overall decline of 8%, dropping from 76,261 units in August 2023 to 70,006 units.

      Commercial vehicle sector experienced a 15% decline in total units compared to August 2023. Key segments decrease. HCV trucks and SCV cargo/pickups dropped by 21% and 23%, respectively. However, passenger carriers grew by 14%, and CV IB a slight increase of 1%. Overall, the domestic market declined by 16%.

      Domestic sale of MH&ICV in August 2024, including trucks and buses, stood at 12,008 units, compared to 13,506 units in August 2023.

      Total sales for MH&ICV Domestic & International Business in August 2024, including trucks and buses, stood at 12,708 units compared to 14,016 units in August 2023.

      Passenger vehicles is 3% decline overall. Domestic vehicles fell by 3% to 44,142 units, while EVs dropped by 5% to 5,935 units. International brand vehicles decreased by 18%.
