      Mumbai - Tata Motors Limited., a commercial vehicle manufacturer, has announced an order for 1,297 units of bus chassis from the Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC). This is the third major order from UPSRTC within a year, bringing the cumulative total to over 3,500 units. The LPO 1618 diesel bus chassis order was secured through a competitive e-bidding process and will be delivered in phases under mutually agreed terms.

      The Tata LPO 1618 diesel bus chassis is purpose-built for intercity and long-distance travel. Renowned for its superior performance, enhanced passenger comfort, and low total cost of ownership (TCO), the model exemplifies Tata Motors Limited’s dedication to offering state-of-the-art transportation solutions.
