      Mumbai- Tata Motors Commercial Vehicles Limited., a commercial mobility, has unveiled its most advanced intercity platform to date the all-new Tata LPO 1822 bus chassis. Designed to redefine long-distance passenger travel, the LPO 1822 sets new benchmarks in comfort, performance, and operational efficiency, reinforcing Tata Motors’ commitment to shaping the future of mass mobility.

      The Tata LPO 1822 delivers an exceptional travel experience with full-air suspension and low NVH (Noise, Vibration and Harshness) levels, ensuring a smooth and fatigue-free journey for both passengers and drivers. With flexible seating configurations ranging from 36 to 50 seats, including sleeper options, the chassis caters to the diverse requirements of fleet operators across India’s rapidly growing intercity transport sector.

      The LPO 1822 is a proven 5.6-litre Cummins diesel engine, producing 220 hp and 925 Nm of torque. This powertrain offers a perfect balance of performance and fuel efficiency. The chassis also forms the foundation for the Tata Magna Coach, a fully built premium intercity bus delivering top-tier safety, comfort, and travel experience.

      Adding to its appeal, the LPO 1822 includes a complimentary four-year subscription to Fleet Edge Tata Motors’ advanced connected vehicle platform. Fleet Edge enables operators to monitor real-time diagnostics, schedule predictive maintenance, and leverage data insights for smarter, more profitable operations.
