Tata Motors has won a 1,297-bus chassis order from UPSRTC, marking its third order this year, totaling over 3,500 units.

Mumbai - Tata Motors Limited., a commercial vehicle manufacturer, has secured an order for 1,297 bus chassis from the Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC). This marks the third order from UPSRTC within the year, bringing the total cumulative order to over 3,500 units.
The order, which is for the LPO 1618 chassis, won through a competitive e-bidding process. The delivery of the bus chassis will be carried out in a phased manner, in line with mutually agreed terms between Tata Motors and UPSRTC.
The Tata LPO 1618 diesel bus chassis is specifically engineered for intercity and long-distance travel, combining outstanding performance with a focus on passenger comfort. Its design ensures a low total cost of ownership (TCO), making it a reliable and cost-effective choice for operators seeking efficiency and durability in their fleet.
