Tata Power and Tata Motors will install 200 fast-charging stations for electric commercial vehicles in major Indian cities, boosting accessibility and reducing costs.
Date: September 12, 2024Mumbai- Tata Power EV Charging Solutions Limited, an EV Charging solutions providers and a subsidiary of Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited, today announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Tata Motors, a commercial vehicle manufacturer, to install 200 fast-charging stations for electric commercial vehicles in major Indian cities: Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Bengaluru, and Kolkata. This initiative enhances their collaboration in providing sustainable and convenient charging solutions for electric commercial vehicles.
Tata Motors and Tata Power will offer exclusive charging tariffs for Tata Motors’ electric CV owners, reducing operating costs and boosting profitability. With nearly 1,000 fast chargers planned, electric commercial vehicle users nationwide will soon benefit from a strategically expanded charging network.

These chargers are strategically placed at highways, hotels, malls, and more, driving the growth of electric mobility in India.
