Tata Motors sold 76,766 vehicles, a 2% increase from May 2023. Domestic sales were 75,173 units, with 29,691 commercial vehicles and 47,075 passenger vehicles.

Mumbai- Tata Motors Limited., sales in the domestic & international market for May 2024 stood at 76,766 vehicles, compared to 74,973 units during May 2023.

Domestic sales increased by 2% to 75,173 units, compared to May 2023. In Commercial vehicle sales varied, HCV trucks and SCV cargo and pickup declined, while ILMCV trucks and passenger carriers surged. Domestic sales grew by 3%, totaling 28,476 units, but exports fell by 14%. Overall, commercial vehicle sales increased by 2% to 29,691 units compared to May 2023.

Domestic sale of MH&ICV in May 2024, including trucks and buses, stood at 12,987 units, compared to 11,776 units in May 2023. Total sales for MH&ICV Domestic & International Business in May 2024, including trucks and buses, stood at 13,532 units compared to 12,292 units in May 2023.

In May 2024, domestic PV sales increase by 2% to 46,697 units, including EVs. PV exports growth by 257% to 378 units. Total PV sales, including EVs, reached 47,075 units, up 2% from May 2023. However, EV sales dropped by 4% to 5,558 units.
