Mumbai - Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd (TATA.ev), a four-wheeler EV manufacturer, has partnered with Shell India Mobility to roll out 21 new TATA.ev x Shell Mega Charging Hubs across Bengaluru, Chennai, Mysore, Pune, and Vadodara. Featuring 120 kW fast chargers, the hubs are designed to deliver quick, dependable charging with reduced wait times. EV users also get a premium on-ground experience, including a dedicated marshal for charging support, fresh food and beverages at Shell Select and Deli2go, and clean restrooms, along with exclusive in-store offers for Tata EV owners.
With this expansion, the TATA.ev Mega Charging Hubs network now exceeds 130 operational locations nationwide. The rollout is part of TATA.ev’s ‘Open Collaboration 2.0’ initiative, under which it works with Charge Point Operators (CPOs) to build high-speed charging corridors across key intercity routes and major urban hubs. Looking ahead, the company targets 400,000+ charging points and 500 Mega Charging Hubs by 2027, supporting smoother long-distance EV travel across India.
