Telangana to observe the Hyderabad e-Mobility Week: Witness the nation's first Formula E

Hyderabad- Telegnana., will be organizing the Hyderabad e-Mobility Week from the 5th- 11th February 2023 in Hyderabad. The Hyderabad e-Mobility Week will bring the global EV ecosystem to the city to enable collaboration and learning while celebrating the progress made. During this week, the city will host the Hyderabad EV Summit, the Rall-E Hyderabad, and the Hyderabad E-Motor Show 2023 before closing the week with the Hyderabad E-Prix.

Hyderabad will be hosting a Formula E race on the 10^th and 11^th of February 2023. Telangana is also one of the first states in India to launch a progressive Electric Vehicle & Energy Storage Systems Policy. Through policy and infrastructure support, Telangana aims to be one of the top destinations in the world for EV and Battery innovation, manufacturing, and sales.

Hon'ble Minister of Industries, Sri K T Rama Rao, said “It gives me immense pleasure to be able to bring the international e-mobility ecosystem to Telangana leading up to the much-awaited Formula E race. Telangana has always been at the forefront of EV adoption in India. We were one of the first states to launch the EV&ESS policy in 2020. The state has also attracted investments from key EV Companies such as Fisker, Olectra, Biliti Electric, and ZF Group. It is a fast-growing sector, and we intend to stay ahead of the curve. Telangana also has a growing technology footprint, being home to several of the largest global IT players. This places Telangana, and its capital city Hyderabad, at the perfect juncture to host the Hyderabad e-Mobility Week and the Hyderabad E-Prix. It is going to be a monumental week for the city and a catalyst for the growth of the sustainable mobility ecosystem in India.”
