Terra Motors and AAI launch their first EV charging hub at Bhopal's Raja Bhoj Airport, featuring slow and fast chargers for up to four vehicles.
Date: December 7, 2024Bhopal - Terra Motors India., an electric vehicles (EVs) manufacturer, collaborated with the Airports Authority of India (AAI), has launched its first EV charging hub at Raja Bhoj International Airport in Bhopal. Covering an area of 75 square meters, the hub is equipped to charge four vehicles at once, offering both a Japanese slow charger and a 30kW fast charger to cater to varying user requirements.
Mr. Apurba Das Mohapatra, Business Director of Terra Charge, highlighted the importance of the partnership with AAI at the inauguration ceremony. Expressed pride in collaborating to advance sustainable infrastructure and promote electric mobility at a pivotal location like Bhopal’s airport. Recognized the contributions of key AAI officials, including Ramjee Awasthi (Airport Director), K.P.S. Sikarwar (AGM Commercial), and Nidhi Shrivastava (Manager Commercial), for their vital roles in realizing the project.
The charging hub is now operational, providing a convenient solution for EV owners and fleet operators in Bhopal. Users can easily locate the facility using the Terra Charge Mobile App. Terra Charge is actively developing similar projects nationwide to expand India’s EV charging infrastructure.
