Cheshire, United Kingdom- Tiger Trailers Limited., has delivered twenty new curtainsider trailers to Currie Solutions, a transport company, expanding its extensive fleet. Built on time and in full during May 2025, the trailers were completed while Currie Solutions made use of Tiger’s rental services to maintain fleet capacity.
Each curtainsider is equipped with Masternaut trackers, 14 pairs of load securing straps, curtains from WJ Leech, and a full rear wrap. To enhance durability and compliance, the trailers feature EN12642XL components, JOST landing legs, a WABCO EBS braking system, Haldex’s Safe Parking solution, and Axscend’s TrailerMaster for electronic brake performance monitoring. Additional specifications include SAF axles, Continental tyres, and an Aspoeck electrical system.
Mr. Matthew Morris, Group Fleet Manager at Currie Solutions, said, “We are all very pleased with our new trailers from Tiger and would like to thank Tom and the team for their hard work. The final finish on the trailers is great, from the curtains to the chassis and components. We are very happy to integrate them into our fleet.”
Delivered initially to Currie Solutions’ Warrington site at Appleton Thorn, after which they will enter service across the UK, operating out of the transport and storage company’s several domestic sites, the new trailers have a KTL finish and are supplied with a 10-year corrosion warranty.
Mr. Thomas Stott, Key Account Manager at Tiger Trailers, said, “It’s been a pleasure to collaborate with the Currie Solutions team in designing and manufacturing their new curtainsider trailers. The customer’s enthusiasm is evident and we look forward to spotting their Tiger trailers out on the road, and caring for them over the coming months”.
Currie Solutions runs a fleet of over 400 trailers, predominantly single deck curtainsiders, along with over one hundred tractor units, and they collected the first of their 20 new Tiger trailers in a brand new MAN TGX.
