Bangalore - Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM), The Indian joint venture between Japan's Toyota Motor Corporation and India's Kirloskar Group, announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Karnataka to expand its operations in India through the establishment of the TKM Bizintel Hub at KWIN City, Bangalore. The initiative highlights the strong partnership between TKM and the state government, with a shared focus on advancing engineering capabilities, digital innovation and future-ready mobility solutions.
The MoU was signed in the presence of Shri Siddaramaiah, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Karnataka; Dr. M.B. Patil, Hon’ble Minister for Large and Medium Industries, Government of Karnataka; senior ministers; government officials; and senior representatives from Toyota Kirloskar Motor.
Spread across 300 acres, the proposed TKM Bizintel Hub will focus on strengthening the overall competitiveness of Toyota’s value chain. Key areas include testing and evaluation of mobility solutions, digital transformation across business operations and the adoption of intelligent manufacturing initiatives. By leveraging India’s strong engineering talent and advanced IT ecosystem, the Hub is expected to play an important role in Toyota’s global growth strategy in the coming years.

Through this collaboration, Toyota Kirloskar Motor and the Government of Karnataka aim to reinforce the state’s status as a preferred hub for strategic technology investments and future-ready talent. The partnership is also expected to support sustainable economic development and create innovation-led employment opportunities.
The proposed TKM Bizintel Hub will be located at KWIN City on the Doddaballapur–Dabaspet Highway. KWIN City, which stands for Knowledge, Wellbeing and Innovation, is an integrated smart city initiative by the Government of Karnataka, focused on advancing innovation, healthcare and information technology.
