      TKM to Establish Bizintel Hub in Karnataka

      Bangalore- Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Karnataka to expand its operations in India through the establishment of the TKM Bizintel Hub at KWIN City, Bangalore. The initiative marks another significant step in strengthening Toyota’s engineering capabilities, digital transformation roadmap and intelligent manufacturing ecosystem in India.

      The MoU was signed in the presence of Shri Siddaramaiah, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Karnataka, Dr. M.B. Patil, Hon’ble Minister for Large and Medium Industries, Government of Karnataka, along with senior ministers, government officials and senior representatives from Toyota Kirloskar Motor.

      Spread across 300 acres, the proposed TKM Bizintel Hub is expected to support multiple strategic functions, including the testing and evaluation of mobility solutions, digital transformation across business operations and the implementation of intelligent manufacturing initiatives. The facility is also expected to strengthen India’s position within Toyota’s global strategy by leveraging the country’s skilled engineering talent and strong information technology ecosystem.

      Shri. Siddaramaiah, Hon’ble Chief Minister, Government of Karnataka, said, “Toyota Kirloskar Motor has been a trusted long-term partner in Karnataka’s growth journey. The MoU marks another important milestone as we work together to deepen technology-led investments, create quality employment and promote sustainable industrial development. This partnership further strengthens Karnataka’s leadership as a global investment destination and reinforces our commitment to innovation- driven growth.”

      Mr. Masakazu Yoshimura, Chairman, MD & CEO, Toyota Kirloskar Motor, said, “We are grateful to the Government of Karnataka for its continued support and collaboration over the years which has played a key role in our journey.       Through this partnership, Toyota Kirloskar Motor and the Karnataka Government aim to enhance the state’s role as a major hub for strategic technology investment, future-ready talent development and innovation-led industrial growth. The project is also expected to support sustainable economic development and generate new employment opportunities in advanced mobility, engineering, digital systems and manufacturing.

      The proposed TKM Bizintel Hub will be located at KWIN City, which stands for Knowledge, Wellbeing and Innovation City. Situated along the Doddaballapur–Dabaspet Highway, KWIN City is being developed by the Government of Karnataka as an integrated smart city with a strong focus on innovation, healthcare, information technology and future-ready industrial infrastructure.
