Bangalore- Toyota Kirloskar Motor., has been awarded the CSR Times Award 2024 in the ‘Swachh Bharat’ category for its impactful ABCD (A Behavioural Change Demonstration) initiative in Raichur, Karnataka. This recognition highlights TKM’s dedication to enhancing sanitation, health, and hygiene in the region.
The CSR Times Award 2024 ceremony was held at the Darbar Hall, Raj Bhawan, Goa, with notable guests including Chief Minister Shri Pramod Sawant, Shri Shripad Yesso Naik, and Shri Puneet Kumar Goel. This prestigious award recognizes outstanding corporate social responsibility efforts. Toyota Kirloskar Motor was honored for its ABCD program in Raichur, Karnataka, which improved sanitation, health, and hygiene in 100 government schools through training, supplies, and community engagement.

Launched in 2015, Toyota Kirloskar Motor's ABCD Program, aligned with 'Swachh Bharat Abhiyan,' has significantly improved sanitation and hygiene in schools and communities. After its success in Ramanagara, it expanded to Raichur and now includes a refresher program in Ramanagara. TKM's CSR efforts also earned accolades at the CII-ITC Sustainability Awards and the CII GreenCo Gold Rating. Their CSR strategy focuses on community empowerment and environmental enrichment, guided by continuous improvement principles and addressing national priorities.
