Bloomington, Indiana - The Toro Company., an agricultural equipment manufacturer, has introduced redesigned versions of its Dingo TX 450 and TX 550 compact utility loaders, retained their walk-behind operating style while adopted a modernized look. Positioned as the only walk-behind mini track loaders in their class, the updated models continue to deliver intuitive controls and dependable performance for contractors and rental users.
Powered by a gasoline engine in the TX 450 and a diesel engine in the TX 550, the compact loaders are designed for digging, hauling and grading in tight or restricted spaces where larger equipment cannot operate. According to Toro, the straightforward and durable design allows both first-time users and experienced operators to work efficiently and complete jobs faster.
Mr. Kaitlyn Ingli, Product marketing manager at Toro, said, “Engineered for ease, the Toro Dingo TX 450 and TX 550 are intuitive to handle. From planting trees and shrubs to moving materials or installing irrigation, these machines provide a practical solution for tasks that would otherwise require significant manual effort.”
Key highlights of the refreshed Dingo models include their compact and lightweight design for easy transport and operation on confined jobsites, along with a low ground pressure that helps minimize turf disturbance. The machines feature a one-hand joystick control for lifting, lowering, curling and dumping, making them simple to operate. Toro also supports the loaders with more than two decades of design experience, a one-year limited warranty, and compatibility with over 35 attachments to handle a wide range of applications.
The updated Toro Dingo TX 450 and TX 550 are expected to be available soon through rental outlets nationwide and at select Home Depot Rental locations. Attendees can preview the machines at booth 4626 during the ARA Show, scheduled for March 2–4, 2026, in Orlando, Florida.
