Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar- Toyota Kirloskar Motor Private Limited., has inaugurated a new city office in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar (CSN), Maharashtra, marking a significant milestone in its strategy to strengthen its regional presence and support the growth of India’s automotive sector.
This development follows the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed with the Government of Maharashtra in July 2024, aimed at establishing a Greenfield Manufacturing Facility in the region. The newly opened office will play a central role in advancing TKM’s operations in Maharashtra, furthering its commitment to sustainable industrial growth, job creation, skill development, and community engagement.
Located at ABC EAST, beside Prozone Mall, Chikalthana, the 7,000 sq. ft. office was inaugurated by Mr. Masakazu Yoshimura, Chairman, MD & CEO of TKM, along with Mr. Swapnesh Maru, Deputy Managing Director – Corporate Planning and Greenfield Project. This facility will serve as a key hub for collaboration with local stakeholders, including government bodies and industry partners, as the company gears up for future expansion.
Guided by its philosophy of ‘Grow India – Grow with India’, TKM sees this new office as a reaffirmation of its belief in India's growth potential and a crucial step in building a sustainable, innovation-driven, and inclusive mobility ecosystem.
In line with the progressing MoU, TKM is also preparing to launch skill development initiatives, and plans to support educational institutions through infrastructure upgrades and access to critical learning resources. These initiatives are part of TKM’s broader mission to foster a world-class skilled workforce and contribute to Maharashtra’s evolution into a leading manufacturing and industrial hub.
