Vehicle Overview

Practical and Spacious Design for Every Situation

The bZ4X Touring is designed as a versatile family-friendly BEV, measuring 4,830 mm in length, 1,860 mm in width, and 1,675 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,850 mm. Its refined styling is complemented by generous cabin space, including 113 mm of rear head clearance and a 1,000 mm front-to-rear couple distance, ensuring comfort for all occupants.

The vehicle provides a cargo length of 1,092 mm and a cargo height of 850 mm, even with the 6:4 split-folding rear seats in use. This configuration delivers a spacious 619-litre luggage capacity, supporting a wide range of lifestyle and outdoor activities.

For enhanced convenience, the cargo area includes four luggage hooks and four shopping hooks, while dedicated levers near the rear hatch allow the rear seats to be folded directly from the cargo compartment. The layout is thoughtfully designed to accommodate various luggage shapes and sizes, ensuring everyday practicality and ease of use.

The bZ4X Touring, developed as a dedicated battery electric vehicle, focuses on delivering smooth acceleration and refined ride comfort, while also offering strong off-road capability. Designed for active lifestyles, it expands the role of BEVs beyond urban commuting, providing confident performance in outdoor and challenging environments.

The 4WD variant is equipped with high-output eAxles at both the front and rear, producing a maximum system output of 280 kW. Powered by a 74.69 kWh lithium-ion battery, it accelerates from 0–100 km/h in just 4.6 seconds, ensuring responsive and dynamic performance even at higher speeds.

A newly developed 4WD control system intelligently distributes torque between the front and rear wheels based on real-time tire conditions. By continuously monitoring steering input and individual wheel speeds, the system helps minimize instability caused by uneven surfaces, enabling stable cornering on snow-covered roads and rugged terrain.

Additionally, X-MODE has been integrated into the drive mode selection system. Drivers can choose from three modes tailored to different road conditions, optimizing the coordination of power delivery and braking control to enhance traction, stability, and handling on rough or slippery surfaces.

Extended Range and Convenient Charging

The bZ4X Touring enhances peace of mind with improved driving range and charging performance. Equipped with a 74.69 kWh battery, SiC-based eAxle efficiency upgrades, and optimized aerodynamics, it delivers up to 734 km of range on a single charge. Fast charging from 10% to 80% can be completed in approximately 28 minutes, even in cold conditions, supported by battery preconditioning that optimizes temperature before charging.

Toyota also supports convenient home charging through its standard 6kW (200V) charger, available as a dealer option. With integrated cable design and optional demand control functionality, owners can charge seamlessly at home without overloading household electricity usage.

Advanced Safety and Driver Assistance

Designed for everyday family use, the bZ4X Touring comes standard with Toyota Safety Sense, offering comprehensive active safety support. Features include Proactive Driving Assist with deceleration and steering support, pre-collision braking, and advanced driver support technologies such as Advanced Drive (traffic congestion assist) and Advanced Park with remote functionality. These systems help reduce driver workload and enhance safety during driving and parking.

Bold and Functional Styling

The exterior blends sleek design with rugged practicality. A distinctive black LED rear light bar stretches across the rear, emphasizing presence. Black 20-inch alloy wheels, bridge-type roof rails, and front and rear skid plates reinforce its active, outdoor character. The model is available in five body colors, including monotone and two-tone options such as Brilliant Bronze Metallic with a black roof.

Inside, a horizontal low-profile instrument panel enhances openness and visibility. A standalone 14-inch center display integrates navigation, climate control, and multimedia functions, complemented by wireless charging and smartphone connectivity. Black wood-grain trim adds an outdoor-inspired touch, while interior themes in Black or Khaki create either a premium or adventure-oriented cabin ambiance.
