Toyota Unveils 2027 Corolla Hatchback with Enhanced Digital Technology

PLANO, Texas, USA - Toyota North America, a Motor Vehicle Manufacturer, has unveiled the 2027 Corolla Hatchback for the U.S. market with upgraded digital technology, including a larger 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and 10.5-inch multimedia touchscreen on higher trims. The hatchback retains its 2.0-litre petrol engine, Toyota Safety Sense 3.0, and sporty driving dynamics, while adding new styling options and enhanced connectivity. The model is expected to arrive at U.S. dealerships in summer 2026.

Available in SE and XSE variants, the updated model features larger digital displays, improved connectivity and new exterior styling options while retaining its proven powertrain.

The SE now comes standard with a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, while the XSE receives a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 10.5-inch Toyota Audio Multimedia touchscreen as standard. Toyota has also introduced a new SE Premium Package, which adds the larger digital display and infotainment system.

On the exterior, the 2027 Corolla Hatchback offers newly available 18-inch gloss white alloy wheels and fresh colour choices, including Inked, Blueprint, and Blueprint with Black Roof, enhancing its sporty appearance.

Built on Toyota’s TNGA-C platform and manufactured at the Tsutsumi Plant in Aichi, Japan, the hatchback continues to be powered by a 2.0-litre Dynamic Force four-cylinder petrol engine producing 169 hp and 151 lb-ft of torque, paired with a Dynamic Shift CVT featuring paddle shifters and selectable Normal, Eco and Sport drive modes.

Inside, the cabin offers upgraded comfort, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, an 8-inch touchscreen as standard, and connected services. Safety remains a key focus with Toyota Safety Sense 3.0, Blind Spot Monitor, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assistance and other advanced driver-assistance features standard across the range.

The 2027 Toyota Corolla Hatchback is expected to arrive at U.S. dealerships in summer 2026, with a starting price of US$24,780 (excluding dealer processing and handling charges).
