India - In a strategic push to accelerate sustainable mobility in India, TVS Motor Company has partnered with Kadam Mobility to deploy 500 electric three-wheelers across key metro and Tier-1 cities. The vehicles—TVS King EV MAX models—will be rolled out in a phased manner beginning in Q2 FY26, with pilot deployments slated for July and August 2025.
Partnership Focused on Clean Urban Transport
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between TVS and Kadam Mobility outlines a shared vision to advance clean, accessible, and tech-enabled last-mile mobility. TVS will provide the EVs, while Kadam Mobility will handle fleet operations, route mapping, and charging infrastructure deployment.
The TVS King EV MAX, selected for this initiative, is one of India’s most reliable electric three-wheelers with:
Empowering Drivers Through Inclusive EV Growth
Beyond fleet deployment, the partnership emphasizes driver empowerment and inclusive growth. Kadam Mobility will offer driver training and skill development programs, particularly focusing on women and underserved communities. The aim is to foster new livelihood opportunities through clean transport services.
National Rollout Strategy
The deployment will initially begin in Delhi, Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Hyderabad, before expanding to additional Tier-1 cities. Kadam’s operational scale and TVS’s manufacturing capability make the partnership well-suited to deliver long-term sustainable mobility solutions.
The initiative supports India’s broader goals of reducing urban emissions, decongesting city centers, and enabling zero-emission public transport in high-traffic zones.
