Chennai- TVS Motor Company., has launched an updated version of Apache RTR 160 4V motorcycle in India. The new variant features golden USD front forks, refreshed graphics, and three-color options. It retains the 159.7cc engine with three riding models and speed of 114 kmph.
The TVS Apache RTR 160 4V delivers 17.55 PS of power, with innovative features like 3 ride modes, TVS SmartXonnect, and Glide Through Technology. It boasts a 37mm USD suspension for better handling, Dual-Channel ABS for precise braking, and an LED headlamp and taillamp for enhanced visibility. Designed for stability and agility, it also features a race-inspired digital cluster and adjustable levers, offering unmatched performance.
The bike features a 159.7 cm³, 4-stroke, oil-cooled engine with Bosch Fuel Injection, delivering 12.91 kW in Sport mode and 11.5 kW in Urban/Rain modes. It produces 14.73 Nm of torque and offers a top speed of 114 km/h. The 5-speed gearbox ensures smooth transitions, while the mono-shock rear suspension, double cradle split synchro frame, and telescopic front forks enhance stability and comfort. Additional features include electric start, oil cooling with Ram Air Assist, and a bullpup exhaust design.
The bike features a durable double cradle split synchro stiff frame and a 37mm upside-down telescopic front fork for enhanced handling. The rear mono-shock suspension ensures a smooth ride, powered by a 12V, 6Ah maintenance-free battery. It comes with an LED headlamp and taillamp for improved visibility. The front rim is 1.85x17, with rear rim options of 2.15x17 (drum) or 3.5x17 (disc). Tyres include a 90/90-17 tubeless front and 110/80-17 or 130/70 R17 tubeless rear. The braking system features a 270mm front disc, with rear options from 130mm drum to 240mm petal disc, and Single or Dual Channel ABS for safety.
