      Chennai- TVS Motor Company Limited, an automotive manufacturer, sold 333,646 units in June 2024, marking a 5% increase from the 316,411 units sold in June 2023.

      The company's two-wheeler division showed a growth of 6%, with sales increasing from 304,401 units in June 2023 to 322,168 units in June 2024. Meanwhile, domestic two-wheeler sales for the same period totaled 255,734 units, marking an 8% year-on-year increase.

      The motorcycle sales rose by 3% year-on-year to reach 152,701 units, while scooter sales increased by 6% to 128,986 units. Electric vehicle (EV) sales grew by 10%, with sales rising from 14,462 units in June 2023 to 15,859 units in June 2024. Three-wheeler sales declined by 4% to 11,478 units in June 2024 compared to 12,010 units in June 2023.

      In June 2024, TVS Motor's total exports fell 4% year-over-year to 76,074 units. Two-wheeler exports specifically declined by 3% to 66,434 units. The company cited challenges in container availability due to conditions in the Red Sea.

      In Q1 FY24, two-wheeler sales rose 15% to 10.56 lakh units, while three-wheeler sales fell 11% to 0.31 lakh units. Total auto exports grew 12% to 2.54 lakh units year-on-year.
