Chennai- TVS Holdings Private Ltd.,(formerly known as Sundaram-Clayton Ltd) they appoints Mr. Sudarshan Venu as managing director of the company, for a period of five years, with immediate effect, elevating him from the post of director.

A significant auto component manufacturer from Chennai, Sundaram-Clayton Ltd, changed its name to TVS Holdings to serve as the holding company for investments in TVS Motor Company. Following the merger of TVS Holdings Pvt Ltd and Sundaram-Clayton Ltd (SCL) as a member of the TVS Group on June 16, 2023, the name was changed. TVS Holdings now owns a 50.26 percent share in TVS Motor Company.

Timm Tiller's appointment as a non-executive independent director of the firm has also been authorized by the board during the meeting. Additionally, it has accepted Sasikala Varadachari's appointment as a corporate independent director for a second three-year term beginning on October 24, 2023.
