TVS Motor Appoints Gaurav Gupta as 2W Operations President

Bengaluru - TVS Motor Company., a two and three-wheelers manufacturer, has appointed Mr. Gaurav Gupta as President of its India 2W operations. He will report to K N Radhakrishnan, Director & CEO. Gupta will oversee both ICE and EV segments, bringing over three decades of experience across India, China, Dubai, Indonesia, Vietnam, and ASEAN markets.

Before joining TVS Motor, Gaurav Gupta held key leadership roles at JSW MG Motor India, including Deputy Managing Director, Chief Growth Officer, and Executive Committee member. Over his 6.5-year tenure, he played a crucial role in building and leading MG Motor India’s commercial operations from the ground up, making a significant impact on the Indian automotive industry.

As Managing Director of Bridgestone Tire Indonesia, Gaurav oversaw domestic and export operations. Previously, he spent two decades at General Motors, holding key roles across Asia Pacific, including Managing Director of General Motors Indonesia and Vietnam. He also served as Chair and board member of the American Chamber of Commerce.

Gaurav Gupta brings extensive expertise in sales and marketing across both Indian and global markets to TVS Motor Company’s domestic two-wheeler business. TVS Motor boasts one of the most diversified two-wheeler portfolios in India. His deep understanding of electric vehicles will also be valuable as the company expands its footprint in the Indian EV segment.
