Bengaluru- Ultraviolette Automotive Pvt. Ltd., an electric vehicle manufacturer, has launched the X47 Crossover electric motorcycle in India, with deliveries scheduled to begin in October 2025. Positioned as a premium electric adventure touring motorcycle, the X47 Crossover combines the aggressive styling of a street-naked bike with the touring capability of an adventure platform.
The motorcycle features a distinctive design that includes a beak-style front fender, sculpted tank, raked tail section, and a cast aluminium sub-frame. It is offered in three colour options—Laser Red, Airstrike White, and Shadow Black. Ultraviolette has also introduced a special Desert Wing edition, which adds touring-focused accessories such as a rear luggage rack, saddle stays, and panniers, making it ideal for long-distance riders who demand both performance and practicality.
In terms of technology and safety, the X47 Crossover debuts Ultraviolette’s UV Hypersense radar system, which provides blind spot detection, lane change assist, overtake alerts, and rear collision warnings. The bike also features dual integrated dash-cams, with an optional dual-display setup that can stream real-time front and rear video feeds. Other rider aids include three levels of traction control, nine levels of regenerative braking, switchable dual-channel ABS, and a full-colour TFT display. Together, these features enhance rider safety while delivering a connected and immersive riding experience.
Powering the motorcycle is an electric motor that produces 40 bhp and 100 Nm of torque, allowing the X47 to sprint from 0–60 km/h in 2.7 seconds and from 0–100 km/h in 8.1 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 145 km/h. Buyers can choose between two battery options: a 7.1 kWh pack that delivers an IDC range of up to 211 km, or a larger 10.3 kWh pack that extends the range to 323 km per charge. Both battery options include an integrated charger, enabling convenient charging at home or the workplace.
With bookings now open through Ultraviolette’s website and authorised dealerships across India, the X47 Crossover is expected to strengthen the brand’s foothold in the country’s growing premium electric motorcycle market. The introductory pricing strategy is aimed at encouraging early adoption, while the bike’s combination of radar-based safety technology, dual cameras, multiple battery options, and touring capability is likely to attract performance-oriented and tech-savvy riders. By launching the X47 Crossover, Ultraviolette has further consolidated its position as a strong contender in the evolving high-end EV motorcycle and adventure touring segments in India.
