Wahpeton, North Dakota - Vaderstad Group., an agricultural machinery manufacturer, is expanding in the Upper Midwest, aiming for growth in the U.S. market, and is now set for growth with new U.S. headquarters in Wahpeton, North Dakota.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony was a joint celebration featuring the Twin Town Ambassadors, the chamber of commerce, community members, and the Vaderstad team. This grand opening represents a major milestone in the company's dedication to growth and innovation within the agricultural sector.

Mr. Paul Link, Director of sales at Vaderstad, said, “When Vaderstad purchased the Wil-Rich product lines from the AgCo-Amity joint venture, what Vaderstad was really looking for was a dealer network that they could move into that was established, and bring their products, both planting, seeding and tillage, from the European market, Canadian market, into the US.”

Vaderstad unveiled its new facility, thoughtfully designed to mirror the synergy and aesthetics of its Swedish headquarters. Equipped with modern conference rooms and auditoriums, the building will serve as a hub for dealer and employee training while also offering dedicated spaces for customer meetings and collaboration.

Despite facing a sales downturn due to challenging market conditions, Vaderstad remains steadfast in its commitment to innovation. The company continues to develop advanced technology tailored to the needs of farmers in the region, ensuring long-term growth and support for the agricultural equipment community.

Mr. Jason Strobbe, VP of sales and marketing for North America at Vaderstad, said, “Where do we bring customers and dealers to learn about who we are. We can show them who we are, what we do, factory tours and those types of things. We're thinking long term. We have a great fit between all of our tillage, seeding, planting, and really, we're trying to show the customers and our dealers out there that Vaderstad is in this for the long haul and our technologies, when they're all combined, we've got a great, unique offering to the farmer, but we need to start somewhere.”
