Vaderstad, Sweden - Vaderstad AB., a heavy-duty agricultural machinery manufacturer, has introduced a completely redesigned version of its mounted telescopic planter, the Tempo T 6–7, focused on improved versatility, easier operation and high field performance.

The new Tempo T features a robust telescopic frame with a clean design and improved accessibility. A key upgrade is its simplified row-spacing adjustment system, allowing operators to change all rows at the same time using a single side-mounted handle.

The planter will be offered in two base models. The Tempo T 6 comes with six row units and supports row spacings of 450, 500, 600, 700 and 750 mm. The Tempo T 7 has seven row units and can be adjusted to 500, 600 and 800 mm. At 800 mm spacing, one row unit is lifted, enabling six-row operation.

After selecting the required spacing, the operator hydraulically activates the telescopic frame from the tractor cab. The process is displayed through Väderstad’s iPad-based E-Control system, while integrated sensors confirm the selected row spacing for accurate setup.

The new Tempo T 6–7 also features Väderstad’s latest-generation row unit, designed for high-speed planting precision. The machine will be available to order from October 2026, with the first serial production units ready for the spring 2027 season.
