Hannover, Germany - Valtra Inc., an agricultural machinery manufacturer, has expanded its 5th generation G Series tractor range with the launch of new models featuring a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT). The 100–145 hp tractors, unveiled at Agritechnica 2025, are designed to make operation simpler, smoother, and more efficient for everyday farming tasks.
The new CVT option is available across all four G Series models in two versions — Active and SmartTouch. These join the existing Powershift models, which remain in production without changes to engine output.
The AGCO-developed CVT transmission uses a single working range from 0 to 40 km/h, simplifying driving with smooth acceleration and efficient speed control. All CVT models come with Load Sensing hydraulics, ensuring optimal performance and fuel efficiency. The system operates on Valtra’s proven EcoPower principle, which maintains productivity while keeping engine revs low.
Operator comfort and ease of control remain central to the G Series design. Features include exceptional visibility with 5.7 m² of glass, a low bonnet for front-loader work, and intuitive controls that allow smooth starts and stops even on slopes. The SmartTouch models feature electronically controlled rear valves integrated with Valtra’s U-Pilot headland management system, while the Active versions offer mechanical valve controls.
All G Series CVT tractors come with up to 110 l/min hydraulic flow, an integrated front loader subframe, and an electronic joystick for precise operation. Smart farming systems such as Valtra Guide, ISOBUS, Section Control, and TaskDoc are supported across the range, with optional Technology and Technology Pro packages for advanced automation.
With this update, Valtra’s G Series combines strength, efficiency, and simplicity — making it one of the most user-friendly tractors in the 100–145 hp range.
