VE Commercial Vehicles sells 11906 units in March 2023

Pithampur- VE Commercial Vehicles Ltd., a joint venture between Volvo Group and Eicher Motors, has announced a remarkable growth in sales in March 2023, with a 35.2% increase compared to the same period last year. The company sold 11,906 units this March as opposed to 8,803 units in March 2022. The sales numbers include 11,677 units of Eicher brand and 229 units of Volvo brand.

The Eicher branded trucks and buses have been the primary contributor to this impressive growth, with sales of 11,677 units in March 2023, a growth of 36.1% compared to March 2022. In the domestic commercial vehicle market, the Eicher branded trucks and buses sold 11,263 units in March 2023, representing an impressive growth of 42% compared to the same period last year.

However, on the exports front, the Eicher branded trucks and buses have recorded sales of 414 units in March 2023, a decline of 36.5% compared to March 2022. The Volvo brand, on the other hand, has shown a modest growth of 3.2%, with sales of 229 units in March 2023 compared to 222 units in March 2022.
