Chennai- VE Commercial Vehicles Limited (VECV)., a joint venture between Volvo Group and Eicher Motors, has signed a definitive agreement with Baidyanath LNG Private Limited., at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. The agreement includes the deployment of 500 Eicher Pro 6055 LNG trucks to Baidyanath LNG.
The agreement builds on the MOU signed on August 26, 2024, during the inauguration of the Baidyanath LNG station in Nagpur, where Honourable Minister Nitin Gadkari flagged off the first fleet of Eicher Pro 6055 LNG trucks. The collaboration aims to strengthen the LNG ecosystem in India by deploying LNG trucks, training service technicians, and developing an LNG fueling network across Central India. This partnership highlights a mutual commitment to helping India's long-haul transport sector transition to cleaner fuel alternatives.

The Pro 6055 LNG truck features Volvo Group’s proven engine technology, with a VEGX8 6-cylinder engine generating 260HP at 2200RPM and a torque of 1000Nm between 1100-1800RPM. Its advanced cabin, equipped with HVAC and an air-suspended driver seat, ensures exceptional comfort and boosts driver productivity.
