Vedanta Aluminium appoints a new CEO of Billets

Vedanta Aluminium has appointed Mr. Fabio Roberto Martins as CEO of Billets to lead the expansion and innovation of their aluminium billet production.

New Delhi- Vedanta Aluminium has appointed Mr. Fabio Roberto Martins as CEO of Billets, with over 26 years of experience at Alcoa, where he most recently served as Director of Operations, will now lead Vedanta’s aluminium billets product group. In his new role, he will focus on optimizing production efficiency, driving commercial strategy, and overseeing operations through innovation and advanced technology. As Vedanta plans to expand its billet capacity to 1.2 million tonnes per annum, Fabio's leadership will be key to achieving the goal of becoming the world’s largest billet producer.

Vedanta also produces High-Speed Billets, known for their exceptional extrusion speed and strength, achieved through optimized metallurgy. As aluminium producer, Vedanta Aluminium manufactured 2.37 million tonnes in FY2024 and leads in value-added aluminium products.
