Pella, Iowa - Vermeer Corporation., an agricultural equipment manufacturer, is accelerating the electrification of tree care equipment with the limited release of a new line of electric machines, including brush chippers, a stump cutter, and a mini skid steer, aimed at field validation with industry professionals.

The initial lineup features the BX1000XL electric brush chipper for North America, the BC200 electric brush chipper for Europe, the SC30TX electric stump cutter, and the S450TX electric mini skid steer. These models will be offered to a select group of customers globally as part of a strategic program to gather real-world feedback on performance and usability.

Mr. Josh Vrieze, Senior product manager for Vermeer, said, "This lineup is a critical step in our electrification journey. By working directly with tree care professionals in the field, we can better understand the real-world performance of these machines and refine them to meet the challenges of tomorrow's jobsites. This is about practical innovation, driven by the needs of our customers."

Vermeer’s move comes in response to rising demand for quieter, low-maintenance, and zero-emission equipment. The electric models aim to enhance productivity while delivering the reliability and performance the company is known for. Key benefits include quiet operation suitable for noise-sensitive areas, zero emissions to meet strict environmental standards, and simplified maintenance to maximize uptime.

Through this field validation initiative, Vermeer plans to work closely with early adopters to shape the next generation of electric-powered tree care solutions, ensuring they are practical, efficient, and ready for the demands of modern jobsites.
