Haiphong, Vietnam- VinFast Auto Ltd., is a Vietnamese multinational automotive company, has officially launched sales for its mini-SUV VF at the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2025. As part of its commitment to smart and sustainable mobility, VinFast also announced a special policy offering free charging for all VinFast electric vehicles at VinFast charging stations operated by V-GREEN across Indonesia. This initiative reinforces the company's dedication to making EV ownership more accessible and convenient for Indonesian consumers.
At IIMS 2025, VinFast announced the VF 3 price at 227,650,000 IDR (battery purchase only) with a 7,850,000 IDR incentive for the first 1,000 buyers. Deliveries start in April 2025. In partnership with V-GREEN, VinFast is offering free charging for VF 3 until March 2028 and for VF e34 and VF 5 until December 2027. V-GREEN also plans to develop 30,000 charging portals across Indonesia by the end of 2025, making EV ownership more accessible and cost-effective.

The VinFast VF 3, a compact mini-SUV (3,190 x 1,679 x 1,652 mm), is designed for urban commuting with 16-inch alloy wheels and 175 mm ground clearance for versatile maneuverability. It comes in four standard colors, including Indonesia-exclusive Jet Black, plus four premium two-tone options.
With a 215 km range and fast charging (10% to 70% in 36 minutes), the VF 3 accelerates from 0-50 km/h in 5.3 seconds, reaching a top speed of 100 km/h. Features include a 10-inch touchscreen, paddle shifters, and a 7-year/160,000 km vehicle warranty with an 8-year unlimited mileage battery warranty.
On February 15, at IIMS 2025, Indonesian customers can take the VF 3 for a test drive and experience firsthand the most accessible model in VinFast's smart and modern product range.
Within just one year of its presence in the market, VinFast has successfully broken ground for its new EV assembly plant, delivered two models - the VF e34 and VF 5, and continuously expanded its sales and service network.
