New Delhi -VinFast Auto Ltd., has launched the VF MPV 7 in India. The electric seven-seater is designed for Indian families, focusing on space, comfort, and practicality. This marks the company’s third product launch in India within a year, strengthening its presence in the country’s growing EV market.
The VF MPV 7 features theatre-style seating with a spacious third row suitable for adults. It offers a 2,840 mm wheelbase and up to 1,240 litres of storage capacity, making it suitable for both daily and long-distance travel.
The vehicle is powered by a 60.13 kWh battery, delivering a range of 517 km (ARAI). It supports fast charging from 10% to 70% in 30 minutes. The front-wheel-drive system produces 150 kW and 280 Nm, enabling 0–100 km/h acceleration in under 10 seconds. The exterior design includes signature V-shaped LED lighting and a modern, clean look.
Inside, the MPV offers a minimalist cabin with leatherette upholstery, flexible seating configurations, and a 10.1-inch infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Additional features include connected car technology, automatic climate control with PM 2.5 air filtration, and a virtual assistant.
Comfort and convenience features include electronic parking brake, passive keyless entry, camp mode, and dedicated AC vents for third-row passengers. Safety features include ABS, ESC, traction control, four airbags, and hill start assist.
The VF MPV 7 is locally assembled at Thoothukudi, supporting the company’s “Make in India” approach.
VinFast plans to expand its network to 75 showrooms and over 230 service workshops across India by the end of 2026, along with initiatives such as free EV charging, exchange programs, and buyback options to support EV adoption.
