Jakarta, Indonesia –VinFast Auto Ltd., has launched the Early Booking Program for three new battery-swapping electric motorcycles in Indonesia–the VinFast Evo, VinFast Feliz II, and VinFast Viper. The launch is part of the company's plan to expand its green mobility ecosystem and strengthen its presence in one of the world's largest two-wheeler markets.
The booking program is open from May 20 to June 20, 2026, with customer deliveries expected to begin in June. Buyers can choose between battery subscription, battery swapping, or owning the batteries with the vehicle.
Ms. Vo Thi Cam Tu, Managing Director of VinFast E-motorcycles Overseas Market, said, "Indonesia is an important market for VinFast, and the launch of these three electric motorcycles reflects our long-term commitment to supporting the country's transition to green transportation. We are also investing in charging and battery-swapping infrastructure to provide a convenient ownership experience."
The VinFast Viper is designed for young riders and comes with smart features such as a smart key, remote vehicle tracking, anti-theft functions, a TFT display, projector headlights, and dual rear shock absorbers.
The VinFast Feliz II and VinFast Evo are updated versions of VinFast's existing electric scooters, improved to suit the needs of Indonesian customers.
All three models are powered by a 5,200W BLDC in-wheel motor. The Viper and Feliz II have a top speed of 90 km/h, while the Evo can reach 80 km/h.
The motorcycles use two 1.5 kWh LFP batteries, which can be swapped or charged. The Evo offers a riding range of up to 150 km, while the Viper and Feliz II can travel up to 145 km on a full charge under standard conditions.
VinFast is expanding its battery-swapping and charging network in Indonesia through its partnership with V-Green. Customers will also receive free battery swapping for one year at selected V-Green stations, along with a vehicle warranty of up to six years or 72,000 km.
VinFast said Indonesia's large motorcycle market and growing focus on clean transportation make it an important market for the company's global expansion. Earlier this year, the company announced plans to grow its electric two-wheeler business in Indonesia, the Philippines, India, Thailand, and Malaysia, while continuing to develop its broader green mobility ecosystem.
