Hanoi, Vietnam- VinFast Auto Ltd., an electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer, unveiled a new international business plan for its electric scooters, kicking off in five markets - Philippines, Indonesia, India, Thailand and Malaysia. The initiative marks an important step in its global strategy and sustainable mobility ecosystem.
Vinfast plans to accelerate international expansion of its e-scooters, beginning with the five priority markets. These regions combine heavy urban usage with supportive demographic trends and a clearer push toward greener transport.
It will roll out battery-swapping scooters including VinFast Flazz, VinFast Evo, VinFast Feliz II, and VinFast Viper, followed by new models over time. The range will be adapted to local riding environments and customer expectations.
The international expansion is built on VinFast’s strong home-market momentum in Vietnam. VinFast adds that its model integrates dealerships, after-sales workshops, financial offerings and infrastructure, in partnership with V-Green for charging and battery swapping.
